Here comes another Duck...

Since I decided to go all out giving the different Hawkers Centres a good try and there's a free shuttle going here, I decided to go with the crowd too. :)

'Duck Rice Set Meal' For a start, the appearance of this set meal looks pretty appealing. In fact as compared to a normal plate of 'Duck Rice', the set meal comes with additional ingredients like 'Braised Egg' and 'Dried Beancurd'. And it's time to dig in. :) Like the previous place that I have tried, the 'Soup' over here also comes with a nice 'herbal taste', and the 'chilli paste' is pretty thick and tasty too. :)

As for the plate of rice, it isn't that bad. Not only the gluey gravy is pretty sweet and tasty, it blends in with the other ingredients pretty nicely too. The chewy and thick slices of duck meat are pretty tasty too. Though some might prefer the taste of the 'Smoked Duck', but the braised duck over here isn't that bad either. :D

Queueing for Michael....

Nope I don't think that I will queue up for the tickets to a concert, but I am willing to spend a bit of time and queue up for food. :D

'Michael Jackson' This is also known as a 'Michael Jackson', which is a mixture of 'Soya Bean Drink' and 'Grass Jelly Drink'. As for the drink itself, it isn't too sweet and there's lots of 'Grass Jelly Strips' inside the cup of 'Michael'. On top of that, though it comes with a moderate portion of ice, but it tastes pretty good too. There's a nice mix of both bitter and sweet taste, which is a (+)

So where can you give this drink a good try?

Western from Paris?

Frankly speaking, I haven't been to Paris yet so I'm not really sure what are the cuisine that you can get at Paris. However...

'Fish with Fried Rice' I'm not so into Fries, unless I have an urge for an interesting plate of fries, otherwise I would try to avoid it. As for the Fish and Chips over here, you can choose to replace the portion of Fries with a decent portion of Fried Rice. The tasty portion of Fried Rice is a (+). Even though the soft bakes beans and crunchy coleslaw are served cold but when you mix it with the Fried Rice, they actually can blend deliciously together. :)

Fried to a delicious looking color, this looks pretty appealing. Even though the texture looks pretty appealing, but the taste is actually pretty normal and there's no Tartar sauce but for the price I'm paying I'm actually getting a hearty meal, which makes this a pretty good deal for lunch. :) In fact, some of the set meals over here comes with the choice of either Spaghetti/Fries or Fried Rice/Fries. Therefore if you are afraid that the Fried Rice might appear to be a bit too dry or bland for you, you can go for the meals, that comes with the sweet brown sauce, which can improve both the taste and the texture of the Fried Rice even further. :)
