Ever since the media started reporting above the trendy soups and the benefits of drinking them, it seems that more and more stalls in a food market are coming up with their own formula for their special blend of soup. However, this stall seems to be around for quite a period of time already.

In order not to waste the good ingredients that comes with the soup, I would always order a bowl of rice to go with it, though most of the time, most of the soup stall will only have the boring white rice... >.<"" |

Nope, this isn't a bowl of soup for rabbits... This is in fact... 'Spareribs soup with Mushrooms'(茶樹菇，冬菇，排骨湯) There's a typo on the menu. It should be 'Pork Ribs' and not 'Spareribs'. A minor typo can really stir a big joke. :P Anyway, let's move back to the food, shall we. According to the menu, this soup is suppose to help you to build up one's health and at the same time, enhance your protection from illness, which isn't that important to me. Most importantly, the taste of the soup is the most important. Loaded with a generous portion of vegetables, mushrooms and Pork Ribs, the sweet taste of the soup is a (+). Besides for that, I wonder how much time was needed in order to brew this bowl of soup, such that the Pork Ribs has changed into soft bones. On top of that, though the carrots were kinda soft, but the mushrooms still remains to be pretty chewy. Last but not least, the affordable price are simply too good to be true. :D |
