The Sushi Bar

Ever since I have eaten a delicious plate of 'Sushi' a few weeks back, the thought of eating good 'Sushi' just couldn't get out of my mind. And it's just so so happen that I happen to come across...

'Soft Shell Crab Aburi Roll'
Topped with a fat and sinful piece of 'Grilled Salmon', the chef has also added
ingredients like the crunchy 'Cucumber' and the crispy fried 'Soft Shell Crab'
inside the 'Sushi Roll'. Once you started chewing and savouring the 'Sushi Roll',
you can easily differentiate the freshness and the nice taste of each individual
ingredients that comes with it. And once you are done with a piece, you can never
stop till you have finished the whole plate. Trust me, this is definitely
something that you should be trying when you are dining over here. :D

'Crispy Shrimps'
I couldn't really remember what's the actual Japanese name of this dish, but
this really works as a great appetizer. Even though it's deep fried, this
doesn't end up to be ultra oily and once you started dipping it inside the
mayonnaise sauce, the nice combination of both sweet and crispy is a (+). :)

'Chicken Katsu Don'
The first 2 dishes are a pretty good start, however this isn't fantastic enough.
Even though the 'Chicken Katsu' is very crispy, but the taste is pretty ordinay
and the sauce isn't good enough to go with it. Similarly, the 'Rice' isn't
freeflow and it doesn't comes with 'Cabbages' too, which is kinda disappointing. :(

So where can you give these delicious Japanese food a try?

Thai food hidden in a corner...

After giving the 'Japanese food' upstairs a good try, my stomach still have lots of space for food. Therefore, we ended up giving this place a try too.

'Tom Yum Soup Set Meal'
Most of the thai dishes that they are offering over here are mainly main dishes.
It would either be a set meal that includes a bowl of rice and a plate or bowl of
ingredient, or a plate of special 'Fried Rice','Phad Thai', etc... I ended up
giving the 'Tom Yum Soup' a try, since that was one of my favourite thai dishes.

My first impression of the 'Tom Yum Soup' was pretty good. Not only the colour of
the soup looks pretty appealing to me, and in terms of the amount of interesting
ingredients added into the bowl of 'Tom Yum Soup', I would say that they are pretty
generous. Ingredients like 'Golden Mushroom', 'Fish Balls', 'Prawns', 'Crab meat
sticks' have been added into the bowl of soup. As I slowly tuck into the food, the
nice mixture of sweet, sour and spicy taste of the soup is a (+), but the texture of
the soup is a bit too powderish for me. But this also means that there might be
chances that they might be using lots of spices rather than instant 'Tom Yum' paste
throughout the process of preparing the soup too. :D Anyway, the taste of the
'Tom Yum Soup' have blend nicely with the taste of each individual ingredients too.
As I bite the ingredients, I could also sense and taste the 'Tom Yum Soup' bursting
out of the ingredients too. :P (For me, the biggest drawback would be the fact that
the food over here isn't spicy enough.)

So where can you give the thai food over here a try?
The name of this place would be 'Afira Amazing Thai Food'.

DIY your Hamburger or Cheeseburger...

Do you prefer a 'Hamburger' or a 'Cheeseburger'? On top of that, what are the ingredients that you loved most? Over here, the 'Sky is the Limit' and they are offering more than one million different types of burgers. Trust me, you can never finish up trying all the different burger combinations over here.

Before moving on with the step of describing my burger, let me start off
by explaining the difference between the 'Hamburger' and 'Cheeseburger'
over here. Basically the main difference would be the additional selection
of Cheese that comes with the 'Cheeseburger'.

'DIY Hamburger'
For a start, I have chosen 'Honey Oat Bun' as the base and I have also
chosen the 'Grilled Chicken' patty out of the 4 different selections,
which is 'Beef', 'Mutton', 'Pork' and 'Grilled Chicken'. Ingredients wise,
I have chosen 'Shredded Lettuce', 'Tomato Slice', 'Pickles', 'Jalepeno'
and also 'Fried Egg'. As for the dressing, I have taken 'Mayonnaise' and
'Roasted Garlic Aioli'.

The burger ended up to be a bit too thick for me. Even when I have opened
my mouth to the maximum, I still have difficulty biting the burger. Taste
wise, the succulent 'Grilled Chicken' is fantastic and upon mixing each
individual bite with the 'half Fried Egg' and several other ingredients, the
taste is pretty exciting and interesting to me. There's a nice mixture of
all the different tastes. And best of all, despite of all the ingredients
added, you still can taste the delicious 'Grilled Chicken'. :D

By the way, they are also offering interesting ingredients like
'Grilled Bananas', 'Grilled Pineapples', etc... over here too.

'Disco Fries'
As for the 'Disco Fries', it's topped with a layer of 'Cheese' and the
base is covered with a thick layer of gravy, which kinda reminds me of
'Brown Sauce'. However the fries are a bit too soft for me but the taste
of the sauces are pretty good. I have given the 'Mayonnaise' and 'Curry
Remoulade' a try and it seems that the 'Curry Remoulade' tastes as
delicious as the 'Curry Sauce' that 'Mcdonalds' is offering back then.
And it's the sauces that gives the fries a very big (+).

So where can you give the 'Burgers' a good try?
The name of this restaurant would be
"The Burger Bar by fatboy's concept".
