Fryday....

Not a typo and it's not a must to have the following on a Friday. Basically this post has something to do with fries. Though I'm not a very big fan of fries but ... here goes.

'Pork Katsu Sandwich Set Meal' with 'Garlic Fries'
The 'Pork Katsu Sandwich' is pretty good and the 'Pork Katsu' is
pretty nice. And since the name of the shop has something to do with
fries, I was looking forward to the fries that they are selling.
But though the taste of the fries is pretty good but I find them too
soft. Probably I should try asking them for fries without any salt,
maybe it will make the fries even much more crunchy.
(By the way, it seems that 'Pork Katsu' isn't their best burger.
Their infamous burger seems to be 'Har Jeong Gai' burger, which is
Cantonese prawn paste marinaded whole boneless chicken leg burger.
They also serve Lamb burgers, beef burgers and fish burgers.
Finally a fast food restaurant that doesn't focus too much on beef burgers. :D)

I decided to give it a try again a few days ago...

Sour Cream & Onion Fries(Left) Garlic & Herb Fries(Right) This is a much better attempt than the previous round. The fries are much more bigger, stronger and tastier. After Googling a bit it seems that they have 2 different concepts. One would be pretty much similar to a fast food restaurant while the other one is pretty much similar to a western restaurant. You can order a main course with a few sides of your choice at this place. But, if you are looking for a place for a light meal for a group of people, I would strongly encourage you to give this place a try. I think just by ordering a plate of fries is sufficient for a group of two. But if you want a bigger variety, you can always go for the 2nd or 3rd plate of fries.

So where can you try out the fries?

The name of this place would be 'Everything With Fries'.
Although currently they only have 4 branches island wide, but
some of the branches are pretty accessible.
Ex: Lorong Mambong (near Holland Village MRT), Bugis Junction,
Orchard Central, etc...

Notes:

• Most of the branches close at around 10pm - 10:30pm. Except for the branch located near Holland Village that is open till 11pm on Sunday - Thursday and 1am on Fridays - Saturdays and Eve of Public Holidays.
• The branch at Orchard Central is pretty much similar as a fast food restaurant.
