Duck in the Mountains...?

There's actually quite a lot of dining options at the base of this hill and I shall slowly reveal them as I move on. For a start, lst's take a look at...

'Duck Rice'
As I go around giving all sorts of delicacies a try, I tend to set some
minimum requirements for a common dish to get considered good. As for
'Duck Rice', it should be served with braised or yam rice. Next would be
the type of chilli that was provided. 'Sambal Chilli' is a must. On top
of that, the quality of the soup. Once you have these minimum
requirements fulfilled, it's almost impossible to fail the expectations
of your customers.

For a start, the sweet gravy that was poured over the plate of rice
has an acceptable level of sweetness. On top of that, the succulent
duck meat is a (+). When I mixed the rice, meat, chilli and the gravy
together, so much goodness in one single bite, which makes things
even much more better. And that's not all, the soup that comes with a
thick and strong herbal taste is a good (+) too. Oh man, I feel like
eating it now....

So where can you give this plate of 'Duck Rice' a good try?
The name of this stall would be 'Shan Duck Noodles And Rice'(山).
It's located in the coffee shop beneath 'Blk 22 Havelock Road'.

Affordable Spanish Food....

When one thinks of having Spanish Food in Singapore, the first word that will pop out of your mind would most likely be 'restaurant'. However, this stall has proven us wrong...

'Spanish Food'
This would be my dinner the other day. Since this is my first visit,
I decided to go all out, and try to give as many dishes as possible
a good try.

Top: Marinated Chicken Skewer
Bottom: Grilled Spanish Sausage with Butter Bean

'Marinated Chicken Skewer'
Yes, the tender and juicy 'Chicken Meat' is a (+). And it goes well
with the paella too. Too bad the vegetables are slightly a bit too
overcooked, therefore it has lost the crunchy touch of the 'Capsicum'.

'Grilled Spanish Sausage with Butter Bean'
Frankly speaking, the taste of the sauce and the Sausages are pretty
good, but the Sausages ain't bouncy enough.

One good thing about the food over here would be the prices that
they are offering. Some of the side dishes are going at an
affordable price that is around S$2.00. :)

'Spanish Paella Rice with Chicken,
Squid, Prawn, Capsicum & Saffron Powder'
If you haven't give Spanish food a try and you don't really want
to burn a hole in your wallet, this would be a good place to start.
The taste of vegetables, meat and seafood do exist in every single
bite of the moist 'Paella' rice. Even though, the vegetables of the
'Paella' over here ain't crunchy enough but the delicious taste is
a (+). And trust me, if you like the overall taste of this 'Paella',
you would definitely love the ones at a good Spanish restaurant,
which is probably much much tasty in taste and comes with a bigger
variety of ingredients... :D

So where can you give these affordable 'Spanish delicacies' a good try?
The name of this stall would be 'Quick Spanish'.
They have numerous stall island wide and all of them are located
