'Teh Halia' This is pretty much similar to the normal 'Teh' or 'Tea with Milk' that one can get in almost all the 'Coffee Shop' in Singapore. However, a special ingredient have been added into this beverage to boost the taste of it even much more further. And the special ingredient would be 'Ginger'. By adding a few slices of 'Ginger' into the kettle of 'Tea' and boiling them together, the spicy taste of the 'Ginger' will blend into the 'Tea' nicely. And if you have topped it with a nice portion of milk, the end product will become sweet and spicy. Therefore, this not only makes it a good alternative for cold and rainy days, it also can help you to get rid of throat and nose congestion. Isn't that nice? :D |
