No 1 or No 2 indeed...

I managed to wake up pretty early that day and rather than doing a road trip, I decided to go ahead with a food trip. This was only the third item and I already couldn't go any further...

'Lor Mee'(卤麺) Basically the 'Lor Mee' over here is pretty plain. If you have gone for the small portion, on top of the type of noodles that you have selected, you will only be getting bean sprouts, braised meat and braised egg. But if you have gone for the bigger bowls, you will also be getting a generous portion of fish meat too. Depending on your preference, you can decide the amount of vinegar, minced garlic, chilli paste and red-cut chilli that you would like to add. Well, as for myself, I have gone for everything. Taste wise, the texture of the soup over here is pretty much similar to the one located along 'Bukit Purmei Road'. The taste of the soup is pretty good and thick. On top of that, it's not too sticky, which makes the process of stirring and mixing all the ingredients relatively easy. :) As for the food itself, I'm giving the generous portion of ingredients that was given, 2 thumbs up. The delicious taste of the noodles and the fresh ingredients are pretty delicious. Even though I managed to finish the whole bowl of 'Lor Mee', but I have to put an end to the 'Food Trip' over here. Basically, my stomach was so full that I couldn't continue eating for the next 4 hours or so. Anyway even though the 'Lor Mee' over here are pretty delicious and filling but I kinda miss the crispy bits of the 'Lor Mee'. It would be great it they could add the crispy bits as one of the ingredients too. :P

So where can you give the delicious bowl of 'Lor Mee' a try?

The name of this stall would be 'Xin Mei Xiang Zheng Zong Lor Mee'(新美香正宗卤麺). It's located inside 'Old Airport Road Food Centre'.

• Operating Hours:
  Fridays - Wednesdays: 07:00am - 15:00pm
  (Closed on Thursdays.)
• Basically, they will just closed for the day once there's no more gravy. The other day, business seems to be pretty good. By 13:15pm, the stall owners have begun to pack up everything, which is pretty early, I think.
• As for the waiting time, it can get as long as an hour. (Basically it depends on the number of customer queueing in front of you and the number of bowls of 'Lor Mee' that they have ordered.)
