Mixture of 'Black Pepper Chicken and Pork Satay'
and normal 'Chicken and Pork Satay' with Rice
For a start, it seems that the 'Satay sauce' have undergone the process of
heating up continuously, therefore the hot and chunky sauces aren't watery
at all. However, the amount of sauces that was given aren't sufficient. Or
probably I was dipping each and every one of the ingredients into the sauce,
therefore...
Rice wise, I think that it will look much more attractive if they have
provided the rice with the leaves wrapping around it, rather than just a
cube of rice, which looks pretty bare. Although the taste is pretty much
the same, but at least that would make it looks much more better.
If I'm given the choice to choose either 'Chicken' or 'Pork' Satay, most
likely I will go with 'Chicken Satay'. This is mainly due to the fact that
if the cook really have a fantastically good 'Satay' cooking skills, the
colour of the 'Chicken Satay' will ended up to be 'Reddish Brown' in colour.
As for the 'Chicken Satay' over here, not only it looks attractive, it's
pretty succulent too. Similar to some other Satay stalls out there, they are
barbecuing the Satay over a charcoal fire, therefore even if you are eat the
Satay meat directly, the fragrance and the taste of the Satay will explode
inside your mouth which gives you a heavenly feeling. As for the 'Black Pepper'
Satays, the texture were pretty much similar to the normal ones. However
just by coating the Satay meat with a layer of 'Black Pepper' will give you a
sharp aroma and a spicy touch when you put the meat into your mouth. I think
that this is an interesting evolution of the normal 'Satay' and if you love
spicy stuff and 'Satay', this would be the thing for both you (and me?). :P
