So sinful yet so good...

One don't really need to eat a large portion of food to grow fat, there are dishes in Singapore that are so so sinful, yet it tastes so good. Here comes the...

'Roasted meat and Char Siew (Barbecued Meat) Rice'
From far, what you will be getting will be a plate loaded with a small portion
of rice covered with a generous portion of meat and a mixture of both dark and
chilli sauce. Well, let's take a close look, shall we?

Usually, I don't really like to place an order for a plate of 'Roasted Meat'.
This is due to the fact that most of the time, the meat will ended up to be
pretty stiff and a bit too dry, which isn't something that I like.

As for the 'Roasted Meat' over here, it doesn't end up to be too stiff, in
fact, the meat still remains to be pretty tender and chewy. On top of that,
though it only comes with a bit of skin, the skin are remarkably crispy. :P
It fact, you don't really need the extra scoop of 'dark sauce' to gobble down
the whole plate of 'Roasted Meat' and rice. However, the thick 'dark sauce' is
not only sweet. The fragrance is pretty nice and on top of it, it can enhance
the overall taste of the 'Roasted Meat' even much more further.

By the way, the moist 'Char Siew' over there are pretty tasty too. It's not
over roasted but at the same time, it has this nice smoky touch. :) Not too
bad for a stall in a 'Hawker Centre'. :)

So where can you give these delicacies a good try?
The name of this stall would be
'Tiong Bahru Lee Hong Kee Cantonese Roasted'(中峇魯李鴻記廣東燒臘).
It's located inside 'Tiong Bahru Market'.
