Unlike a typical stall that focus on 1 or 2 types of rice dishes, the stall over here is far more interesting. On top of that it seems more like a typical 'Cze Char' stall rather than a normal 'Chicken' or 'Duck' stall.

'Oatmeal Fried Chicken Rice'(麥片雞扒飯)
This dish is neither Chinese nor Japanese. It's a bowl of white rice topped
with a Japanese like Fried Chicken Cutlet and crispy oatmeal bits. Besides
for the meaty bit, there's a fried egg and a small portion of vegetables too.
If you ask me, this is probably the result of the amazing range of cuisine
that you can get in Singapore.

Taste wise, it's a (+). Not only it's juicy, the Fried Chicken is reasonably
crunchy and tasty too. When you mixed it with the small bits of oatmeal,
the taste of this bowl of rice simply gets more and more interesting. As for
the fried egg, I personally find it to be a bit too boring. (Or probably it's
the meat that is far too tasty, therefore...) Anyway, for spicy food lovers,
do remember to give their blend of Chilli a good try. :P |
So where can you give this dish a good try?

The name of this stall would be 'Pin Wei Local Kitchen'(品味小廚).
It is located in 'ABC Brickworks Market/Food Centre'. |
Notes:- Operating Hours:
11:00 - 21:00 - By the way, if you are a Noodles/Rice Noodles/Rice vermicelli person, you can try requesting for a special variation of the same dish and replace rice with your favorite alternatives, which works too. :)
