Balls?? Based on what I know, balls are mainly used in sports most of the time. And the closest ball that you can get when it comes to food related terms would probably be ingredients like egg balls or ice balls, which is a dessert that you can only find in Singapore long long ago. So what is this ball that I'm talking about?
Introducing Sweet Potato Dumpling that comes in the shape of a ball. :P
Although, it's a dumpling, it doesn't have the shape of an oval.
I'm not sure why this was given a name 'dumpling' but it definitely taste good.
It's crispy on the outside and soft in the inside.
It was so good that you can even taste the sweet potato
once you take a bit off these balls.
On top of that, even if you set these 'balls' aside for a few hours,
it still remains to be pretty delicious. Isn't it nice. :D
Besides for the flavour of sweet potato, there's also flavours like
peanuts, red beans, vegetables and pandan coconut. Even though I still
go ahead with the flavour of sweet potato most of the time, it doesn't
mean that I didn't try the other flavours at all. It's just that I
still prefer the taste of the sweet potato much much more. :)
So where can you find these balls?
The stall is located inside Maxwell Food Centre. Although the name of the stall is in Mandarin, it's actually pretty easy to identify the stall in Maxwell Food Centre. |
