A pot? of thick Laksa

Over the past few years, I have been eating 'Laksa' from a bowl. But if I'm not mistaken, I have a vague memory that I have eaten 'Laksa' have a clay pot before. Hence, the game of Googling begins...

I am correct. There's indeed a stall that prepares clay pot 'Laksa' in
Singapore. Although it's slightly pricier than normal 'Laksa' but...

you are getting many different kinds of ingredients in this clay pot
of 'Laksa'. There's cockles, prawns, bean sprouts, chicken shreds,
fried bean curd, fish cakes, etc... Here comes the best part. Although,
the soup of the 'Laksa' was slightly a bit too dry but the taste of the
soup was pretty thick. In fact this is probably one of the thickest
'Laksa' soup that I have tasted for years. Besides for the great taste,
eating a hot and spicy bowl of 'Laksa' on a Sunny day was pretty
challenging. :D

Maybe this is the secret behind the good pot of 'Laksa'
A was taking a glance at the way they are making each and every
pot of 'Laksa'. First they will add all the main ingredients into
a clay pot and pour an amount of 'Laksa' soup into the clay pot.
Followed with the step of placing the clay pot over a fire and
heat it up. Therefore that's probably the biggest secret behind
each and every pot of hot and spicy pot of 'Laksa'.

So where can you find this stall?

The name of this stall would be 'Depot Road Zhen Shan Mei
Clay Pot Laksa'. This stall is currently located at the
village of 'A'.
Note:
  • Operating Hours: 9am - 5pm daily
  • Closed on Sundays.
  • (Although the operating hours are until 5pm, but I was there more than 4 times and my conclusion would be to get there before 2pm, else nothing will be left.)
