Like a Moon?

Let us take a look at the following picture first. Make a guess, what do you think the following image is showing?

Is this a mango cake? No.
Is this a Jelly? No..
Is this a dessert? No...
This is in fact an...

Egg Tart.
As compared with all the common Egg Tarts that you can get from a
pastry shop, this Egg Tart comes in a diamond shape. On top of the
shape, the texture of the egg, which was in the centre of the egg
tart was a combination between both soft and hard. Usually a egg
tart will have a slightly harder texture in the middle, but this
egg tart have a soft texture that was similar to a Portuguese Egg
Tart. Even though the texture was much softer than regular egg tart,
that doesn't mean that the ingredients in the middle will spill out
easily. Not sure how they chef manage to do that but that was amazingly
interesting. Here comes the best part, the amount of egg filling that
was given in the Egg Tart was both generous and delicious.

Besides for the Egg Tart, another speciality of the place would be the Coconut Tart. Besides for the Tarts, another speciality of this place would be the Traditional Chinese Pastry.

So where is it located?

The name of this place would be 'Tong Heng Confectionery'(東興). The main branch is located along South Bridge Road which was also a 5 minutes walk away from Maxwell Food Centre. They also have a branch in Jurong Point Shopping Centre if I'm not mistaken.

This would be one of the decorations of the place. Pretty interesting right?
Finding the Gods of Blessings, Prosperity and Longevity
or more commonly known as 福禄寿 at a place like this.
