The infamous Power Nasi Lemak...

I think that I haven't been doing a lot of exploring over the last few weeks, therefore I decided to go all out and travel all the way to the west not knowing what I might end up eating...

'Power Nasi Lemak'
After making 2 big rounds looking at all the possible options located in this market,
I have finally decided to give the 'Nasi Lemak' over here a try. As for why, the reason
is pretty straightforward, this seems to be one of the stalls that has a consistent
queue... =.=""" They are offering 2 different base set of 'Nasi Lemak'. Both set include
ingredients like 'Ikan Bilis and Peanuts', 'Fried Egg', 'Cucumbers' and not forgetting
the thick 'Sambal Chilli'. The biggest difference would be the 'Chicken Wing' that comes
with the 'Chicken' set and the 'Fish' set comes with the 'Fried Fish', or more commonly
known as 'Fried Ikan Kuning'. But if neither of the set managed to catch your interest,
you can always customise your own set meals. Well, as for the other day, I ended up
trying the 'Chicken' set topped with an extra serving of 'Otah'.

For a start, even though the 'Sambal Chilli' isn't too spicy, but the thick texture
of the chilli could blend with all the ingredients nicely. And the taste of the
chilli is so shiok that it keeps you going on and on, craving for more. The taste of
the 'Otah' is pretty good too, but the taste and the texture will be even much more
better if they have cooked it a little bit more longer. Been a big fan of 'Peanuts'
I love the crunchy sensation that I'm getting from the 'Ikan Bilis and Peanuts'
combination. (By the way, the 'Ikan Bilis' isn't too salty at all.) As for the
'Fried Egg', if you are into half boiled egg yolk, you will definitely love this a
lot. As I split up the 'Fried Egg' into 2, the egg yolk were making their way
covering and adding an additional flavour into the 'Nasi Lemak Rice' too. The
texture of the 'Chicken Wing' over here were very crispy indeed, but the taste of it
isn't that fantastic. I'm wondering is it because they are reusing the same cooking
oil to fried all the other ingredients, therefore the taste of the 'Chicken Wing'
is kinda funky to me. By the way, the non-sticky 'Nasi Lemak Rice' over here have
this nice fragrance and the taste of the 'Coconut Milk' is pretty good too. :D

So where can you give the 'Power Nasi Lemak' a try?
The name of this stall would be 'Boon Lay Power Nasi Lemak'.
The actual name of this stall is much more longer but
most people recognised it as 'Boon Lay Power Nasi Lemak'.
It's located inside 'Boon Lay Place Food Village'.
