Infamous Lor Mee @ Bukit Purmei

It seems that whenever anyone started mentioning about 'Bukit Purmei Road', the first delicacy that they would think of would be the 'Lor Mee' over there.

So what's so special about the 'Lor Mee' over here? For a start, the soup itself
isn't too sticky and at the same time, the taste of the soup still remains to be
pretty thick and good. One thing that I love about the soup over here would be the
fact that it's not too sticky, therefore I don't find it too crazily difficult to
mix all the ingredients nicely together.

On top of the tasty soup that they are serving over here, the ingredients that
they have added into the bowl are pretty good too. For a start, there's all these
crispy bits, bean sprouts, sliced lean braised meat, BBQ meat, etc... On top of that
the generous portion of ingredients that was added into the bowl would be something
that one could look forward to. Besides for the generous portion, the taste of each
and every type of ingredients were pretty delicious too. As you take a bite from the
bowl of noodles, there would be a mixture of crunchiness, stickiness, meaty and tasty,
which is amazingly good for a neighbourhood stall. By the way, as I'm the type of
noodle eaters that would gobble down all the noodles upfront, therefore most of the
ingredients still remain at the bottom of the bowl. Hence, the last bites that I have
have taken from the bowl were pretty meaty and satisfying. In fact, if you a meat
lover, you can also ask for the fattier meat to be added into the bowl of noodles at
an extra charge.

So where can you give this delicious bowl of 'Lor Mee' a try?

Ootoya in Singapore

A few weeks ago, I suddenly have the urge for Japanese Katsu and Oysters. Therefore, I decided to make the trip down to 'Orchard Central'. However, that's a Wednesday and due to the promotion at 'Tonkichi' every Wednesday, the queue outside 'Tonkichi' every Wednesday will always ended up to be pretty long. In the end, I decided to give the other Japanese restaurants nearby a try instead.

'Chicken Katsutoji Jyuu Set'
The 'Chicken Katsu' over here are pretty crunchy and delicious.
And the fried egg that's covering the 'Katsu' aren't soggy
and aren't too salty. Therefore, as and when you took a piece of
'Katsu', a bit of onions and a bit of rice into your mouth, you
will experience a sudden sense of happiness.
As compared to the 'Katsu', the other dishes that come with
the set meal are pretty ordinary.
(By the way, in terms of the taste and the texture, I still think
that 'Tonkichi' still serve the best 'Tonkatsu' in Singapore.)

'Asari Seiro'
Pretty much the same way how 'Dim Sum' was prepared, the chef
had thrown ingredients like 'rice', 'vegetables', 'mushrooms',
'clams' into the 'Dim Sum' basket and steam them together.
The final product has a pretty exciting and delicious taste as
compared to an ordinary 'fried rice'. Besides for the taste,
the rice were pretty soft too and the chef has also added a
generous portion of ingredients into this dish.
(Too bad they didn't have a similar dish that was made out of
'Oysters'. I seriously would like to give it a try.)

That's right. The name of this Japanese restaurant would be 'Ootoya'.
This would be one of the Singapore branches that is located on level 8

The Duck, The Roasted Meat or The BBQ Meat

Recently, I decided to have/add a bit more meaty stuff into my meals. So that I can do my part as a blood donor and since I have the time the other day and I really love to explore new eating places, therefore...

'Duck meat' & 'BBQ Meat' Rice(鴨叉燒飯)
As for the food over here, for the same price, you can either choose to have
'Duck Meat' or 'Roasted Meat' or 'BBQ Meat' with a plate of rice. By the way,
after you pick up the plate of rice from the stall helpers, you can add as
many scoops of sauce as you want. However, usually such dark coloured sauces
are pretty salty, therefore I would strongly encourage you not to pour too
much sauce all over the plate.

I personally find the 'duck meat' a bit too stiff. As compared to the 'duck meat',
the 'BBQ Meat' were far more tender, juicier and delicious. And the 'BBQ meat'
will even taste much more better when you have it with a bit of the sauce and the
rice. In fact, I wonder how would the 'Roasted Meat' over here taste like...

So where can you give this plate of 'meaty' rice a try?
The name of this stall would be 'Jiu Jiang Shao La'(九江燒臘).

Victor HK Dim Sum

Since I haven't been eating and tasting 'Dim Sum' for a very very long period of time, therefore I decided to do a bit of snacking with my friend, since we are meeting up for dinner. :P

The look of the 'Carrot Cake' reminds me of the 'Wan Kueh'(碗糕) from 'Bukit Merah
Central' that I have been eating when I was a small little kid. Since it has been
covered with a layer of 'XO sauce' , therefore the taste of it is a bit salty and
the texture of it is pretty soft.

As for the 'Phoenix Claws', although I'm not a big fan of the 'Phoenix Claws', but
I think that the taste of it is relatively normal and it's not spicy enough.
(Part of the Chinese name of this dish has the word 'spicy'(辣) in it, but I think
that it's not even close to spicy.)

'Victor's King Prawn Dumpling'(超級蝦餃王)
Although the size of the prawns inside the dumplings were pretty big, so big that
the dumplings were reflecting a orange/beige colour, but the overall taste of the
dumplings isn't fantastic enough. Somehow I think that the skin of the dumplings
were too thick and it will taste even much more better if it's much more thinner.

'Tasty Queen Size Siew Mai'(美味蟹王燒賣)
I think that this is one of the better 'Dim Sum' over here. Although it's not
really much more bigger than any other 'Siew Mai' out there, but it's pretty
meaty and delicious. (I guess the word 'meaty' has explains everything. :P)

'Golden Egg Yolk Lava Bun'(黃金流沙包)
This is one of the signature dish of this place and at the same time, one of my
favourite dish over here. From the photos that I have taken, it might look pretty
much the same as a normal custard bun, but there are lots of differences between
the both of them. The yellowish looking 'Lava' inside the bun was a mixture of
custard and salted egg yolk. Although the size of the buns are pretty small, but
once you took a bite off one of the buns, the lava will drip onto your tongue and
into your mouth and you can easily identify the taste of the 2 main ingredients.
Basically, I have three words to describe the taste of the buns and that would be
'Sweet', 'Salty' and 'Sinful'.

So where can you give all these 'Dim Sum' a try?

Beyond a Banana...

Being a Singaporean, chances that you have eaten a 'Goreng Pisang'(Fried Banana) before are pretty high. However, have you tried...

'Goreng Durian'
As for the texture of this snack, it's pretty much similar to melted cheese
hiding inside a pizza crust. The moment you took a bite off this snack, the
flesh of the Durian will melt inside your mouth. Similarly, once you took a
bite off the snack, a strong Durian smell will burst inside your mouth.
Although Durian itself was a type of 'heaty' food, but by preparing it this
way, it has definitely push it to a whole new level. I would strongly advise
you not to have this too often, else you will regret about it.

'Goreng Pisang'
The taste of this snack is relatively good, but I personally don't find it as
exciting as the 'Goreng Durian'. The biggest problem that the snacks over here
have, would be the size of it. Although most of them are pretty delicious, but
the size is too small. >.<

This should give you a pretty good idea of the snacks that they
are offering over here. Besides for 'Goreng Pisang' and 'Goreng Durian', the
stall owners and also making and selling 'Fried Yam', 'Fried Sweet Potato',
'Sweet Potato Balls', etc...

So where can you give all these 'heaty' snacks a try?

Zebra Fish?

One of the biggest reason, why I loved dishes that comes with a big bowl of soup is mainly due to the fact that I can save a bit of money, since I don't need to spend an extra sum of money on a beverage. (Although this is kinda like betting...)

'Black White Fish Soup'
Before I proceed forward introducing the bowl of fish soup itself, I would like to
compliment the stall owner for the type of chilli sauce that they have prepared over here.
Besides for the normal plate of sliced chilli, they have also provided a special type of
chilli that is pretty much similar to a Thai chilli sauce. Although it's slightly a bit
too watery, but the taste of the chilli can actually blend with the taste of the
fish slices pretty well.

As for the bowl of fish soup, although it's given the name of 'Black White Fish Soup',
but in fact, it's actually a mixture of raw fish slices and fried fish slices. Besides
for fish slices, the stall owner has also thrown in lots of vegetables into the soup.
As for the fish slices, I personally find all of it pretty fresh and delicious. As for
the fried fish, it didn't ended up to be too soggy, which happens to be one of the
biggest problem to 'fried fish soup' most of the time. As for the taste of the soup,
it wasn't too pepperish, which adds another (+) to the overall dining experience.

So where can you give the 'fish soup' a try?
The name of this stall would be 'Ichiban Seafood Sliced Fish Soup'(一級棒海鮮魚片湯).

Egg or Carrot Cake

Although I already had a heavy meal for lunch but I still have a bit of time and at the same time, my stomach still have room for a bit of food. Therefore...

'White Carrot Cake'
As I was passing by this stall selling 'Carrot Cake', I suddenly recalled something.
When I was having my dinner with my friend a few weeks back, he had mentioned about
the 'carrot cake' of this place. Since I was passing by this stall, I decided
to give the 'Carrot Cake' over here a try.

Although the 'Carrot Cake' over here is relatively cheap but the portion that you
will be getting is relatively small too. Taste wise, it's pretty much the same as
all the good 'Carrot Cake' out there that comes with a nice fragrant of radish.
However, the taste of the fried egg were far more richer than the taste of the
radish. In fact, to some extent, I think that you should be calling this a plate
of 'Fried Egg Cake' rather than 'Carrot Cake'. :P By the way, if I'm given the
choice to choose either a burger from one of the biggest fast food chain in
Singapore or the 'Carrot Cake', I will choose the 'Carrot Cake', since both are
the same price, but the taste of the 'Carrot Cake' is far more delicious. :P

The name of this stall would be 'Fried Kuay Teaw Mee'(炒粿條麵).

Not to be mistaken for the Fried Hokkien Noodles....

With the increase in the number of food centre or hawker centres, some delicacies were getting more and more common. Therefore, in order to be competitive, more and more stalls are using factory-made ingredients, which kinda make stalls that are making their own ingredients more and more valuable and rare.

'Fishball Noodles'
The 'Fishballs' over here are all freshly made by the stall owner. How do I
know that? Basically from the looks of the 'Fishballs'. Rather than being
round and circular, all of them are irregular shaped. On top of that, each
individual slice of fish cake are irregular shaped too.

Taste wise, the bowl of noodles are pretty good. Although I have placed an
order for a bowl of '(Dry) Fishball Noodles', but I have come across numerous
stalls that have been adding too much sauce to the noodles, which kinda made
it super watery and yucky. As for the stall over here, the amount of sauce
that was added into the bowl of noodles comes to a perfect balance between
spicy and salty taste. In fact, the taste of the bowl of noodles were so good
that I emptied the whole bowl of noodles without the help of the fish cakes
and 'Fishballs'. :P (There goes my passion for noodles again. :P)

As for the taste of the 'Fishballs' and fish cakes, although the looks are
pretty bad, but all of them are pretty fresh and bouncy. Therefore as I
compare the price that I'm paying and the food that I'm getting, I think that
the 'Fishball Noodles' over here have make a good start to the day. :D

Curry from the Heaven of India?

When you are a small little kid, there ought to be some delicacies that you might have tasted once or twice but at the same time, you still remember the delicacy up till today. And the post today have something to do with this. :)

'Putu Mayam'
If I'm not mistaken, the Indian stall in my Primary school used to sell this. The white
coloured 'Bee Hoon' or pancake looking food is a mixture of flour and coconut milk.
Basically, besides for the pancake looking 'Putu Mayam', you will also be given a small
portion of 'sweet coconut palm sugar' and 'grated coconut'.

Okay, so you have the dish, but how to eat it?
I'm not sure what the best way to savour it, but as for myself, I will tear off a small
piece of the 'Putu Mayam' and add a bit of 'grated coconut' or 'palm sugar' to it and
throw it into your mouth. You will be getting the super sweet taste of the 'sugar' in
one single bite easily. Therefore, I would strongly encourage you not to eat this dish
too often. Although the 'Putu Mayam' that I'm getting over here was much more bigger
than what I'm getting back then, but I still think that the texture of the 'Putu Mayam'
back then were much more fluffy. (:P)

More Yam dessert please...

It seems that after giving the dish 'Stir-fried Yam' from 'Pu Tien' a try, I suddenly have a great interest in food that comes with lots of 'Yam'. And on top of that, I haven't been exploring the areas around my current workplace for a very long time, therefore...

'Bo Bo Cha Cha'(摩摩查查)
I have been monitoring my sugar level every now and then. Therefore, I have been
minimizing the number of bowls of desserts that I can go for each week. And whenever
I come across places that serve desserts like 'Power Chendol', that would further
reduce the number of bowls of desserts that I can go for that particular week.

Therefore when it comes to dessert, some of my favourites would be stuff like
'Chendol', 'Ice Kacang', 'Honeydew Sago', 'Red bean soup', etc... and the list
can go on and on. In fact, there was a period of time where I was madly in love
with 'Bo Bo Cha Cha'. So what's so special about 'Bo Bo Cha Cha'.

'Bo Bo Cha Cha' is basically a bowl of dessert that comes with a bowl of coconut
milk and it will include ingredients like 'Yam', multi-coloured 'Tapioca flour jelly'
and 'Sweet Potato'. Depending on the dessert stall owner, he might include ingredients
like 'Sago', 'Beans', etc... It's one of the desserts that can be served in warm/cold.

So what's so special about the 'Bo Bo Cha Cha' over here?
The price for this dessert is pretty reasonable. On top of that, the taste of the
'Yam' are so strong that even by taking a small sip of the 'soup', I can actually
taste the 'Yam' and the sweetness of the coconut milk. Best of all, once you
started putting a cube or two into your mouth, you can actually feel the taste of
the 'Yam' and the 'Sweet Potato' bursting inside your mouth, which is pretty nice.
(By the way, because of the amount of coconut milk that was added into this dessert,
therefore I would strongly advise you not to have it too often. :P)

The only Japanese Udon restaurant in Singapore?

In Singapore, there's a very big variety of 'Japanese restaurants'. For example: 'Ramen restaurants', 'Shabu Shabu restaurants', 'Japanese style drinking places', etc... However if you have the sudden urge of eating 'Japanese Udon', where can you go?

There's finally a Japanese Udon restaurant in Singapore.
The restaurant was opened a few weeks back and it's located
on level 1 of 'Liang Court' Shopping Mall.
The name of the restaurant would be 'Tamoya' and the photos
in the above shows the exterior of the branch in Singapore.

'Japanese Curry Udon'
In fact, going to give the 'Japanese Curry Rice' at 'Liang Court'
a try was my main reason for visiting the shopping mall.
However, I changed my mind, as soon as I saw the new 'Japanese
Udon restaurant'. Hence I ended up eating 'Japanese Curry Udon'
for dinner that day. In fact, I had a hard time selecting the
type of 'Udon' that I wanted to try, especially when there are
more than 10 different types of 'Udon' on the menu and the price
are pretty reasonable.

This is indeed 'Japanese Curry'. It's pretty sweet rather than
been spicy. And on top of that, one particular reason why I don't
really like to have 'Japanese Udon' in the local Japanese restaurant
was due to the fatal problem of the 'Udon' being too soft. However,
I don't experience the issue with the 'Udon' over here. In fact, the
'Udon' over here are pretty chewy, not too hard and delicious. Which
ended up to be pretty good dining experience.

Besides for 'Udon', they also prepare and sell Japanese delicacies
like Tempura, 'Onigiri'(Japanese Rice balls), etc...

For the sake of Iron....

Although I'm not a super enthusiastic blood donor, but Iron play a very big role in our body. It's needed in transporting oxygen in our blood. On top of that, our immune system requires Iron to function properly. Therefore since I wanted to do my part for the needy by donating my blood, I have to find ways to maintain my high iron level. Hence...

'Pig Organ Soup'
Since I couldn't eat beef due to religion reasons, therefore the next best
alternative food that is rich in iron would be pig liver. However, I would
only go for a big bowl of pig liver soup, one or two days before I visit
the blood donation centre. Hence, in order to maintain my high iron level,
I would go for a bowl of 'Pig Organ Soup'.

For the sake of readers out there that have not come across the Chinese
'Pig Organ Soup' before, it is a bowl of soup that comes with salted
vegetables and a variety of pig organs. For example: meat balls, pork
intestines, pork liver, pork meat, etc...

As for the 'Pig Organ Soup' or this place, the ingredient that left a
very deep impression on my stomach would be the 'salted vegetables'.
It's pretty salty and I find it pretty nice. However the amount of
'salted vegetables' that was given isn't sufficient. :( On top of that
the other ingredients are pretty nice too and the taste of the soup
is completely filled up with the taste of the pig organs. However, I
think that they have sprinkled too much green vegetables on the soup
that doesn't really blend with the taste of the soup pretty well.

The name of this stall would be 'Say Seng Cooked Food'(生成熟食).

Having it warm...

Probably if I mention the word 'Kueh' in Singapore, the first few words that might pop up on your mind would be words like 'cold', 'sticky', etc... However...

This stall really live up to its reputation. The 'Soon Kueh' that I'm getting
from this stall are pretty warm. As it was served warm, therefore I don't really
find it too sticky. And I really like the ingredients inside it, although I think
that most of the ingredients that are included in the 'Soon Kueh' were mostly
'Radish', but I really love the taste and texture of this 'Soon Kueh'. By the way,
I think that the chilli blend with the taste of the 'Soon Kueh' much more better
than the dark coloured sauce.

Usually, I'm not a fan of 'Png Kueh'. The main reason that I gave it a try
was mainly due to the fact that I can mix and match the number of 'Png Kueh'
and 'Soon Kueh'. As long as I place an order for 3 different 'Kueh' ('Png Kueh'
or 'Soon Kueh'), the price will also be S$2.00. So I ended up giving the
'Png Kueh' over here a try. Despite being cold and sticky, I actually enjoy the
taste of the 'Png Kueh' pretty much. Probably it's due to the peanuts that was
added into the 'Kueh' that have made it much more crunchy. In fact, most of the
ingredients that was used in preparing the 'Png Kueh' were mostly stuff that I
like. For example: peanuts, mushrooms, shrimps, etc...

Though the 'Kueh' over here are slightly a bit small, but they don't really lose
out to cakes or buns that you are going to have for Hi-Tea.

The name of this stall would be 'Fatt Soon Kueh'(发笋粿).

Beating the heat, the Cambridge way?

Since Singapore doesn't have the 4 seasons, therefore what we are experiencing in Singapore most of the time is either Sunny or Rainy days. And when it started to become more and more sunny, the same weather can lost for more than 2 weeks. So, what would be a good drink to help you to beat the heat?

'Pineapple Juice'
When it comes to eating and drinking, I have set of rules that I have
been following the past few years. For example: I would try not to order
a drink when I'm dining outside. If there's really a need, I would go for
drinks that doesn't comes with a can. Therefore, the first thing that
caught my attention would be the big container that contains the 'Pineapple
juice'. When it comes to drinks stalls, they will usually sell the stuff
that they need to prepare on the fly (Ex: coffee, tea, etc...) or they will
sell drinks that involves minimum cost/manpower (Ex: grass jelly, soya bean,
etc...). Not all the stalls out there are willing to invest time and money
in preparing the 'Pineapple Juice'.

The 'Pineapple Juice' here is pretty concentrated and the few pieces of
pineapple that was included in the drink are pretty nice too. Oh by the way,
looking at the colour of the drink, the stall owners might have soak the slices
of pineapple inside the container for a very long period of time, therefore when
I took it out from the mug, the colour of the pineapple looks kinda orangish.
And I wonder if I wait for another hour or so, will the taste of the drink
and the fruit becomes much more thicker? Hmmm, I wonder.

So where can you give the 'Pineapple Juice' a try?
The name of this stall would be 'Cambridge Fresh Fruit Juice'(剑桥鲜果汁).

Although it's supposed to be white but it's looks bright and sunny

Since I haven't been making a trip to this food centre for a very long period of time, I decided to pay a visit and check out what's nice over there.

'White Carrot Cake'
I saw a long queue of people queueing up for the 'Carrot Cake' over
here, so I decided to give it a try too. I'm glad that I did give
this a try. Why? Because this is one of the stalls that really serve
good 'Carrot Cakes'. So what's so great about this ordinary looking
plate of 'White Carrot Cake'?

First of all, just by taking a glance at the photo that I have shown
here, this plate of 'White Carrot Cake' looks pretty attractive. In
fact, it looks kinda bright and sunny, which really turn my appetite
on. Secondly, I'm not really sure how the stall owner can manage to
do it, but the portion that they are preparing and serving over here
are very very generous. Imagine this, I only had the smallest plate
of 'White Carrot Cake' that they are offering over here and after
spending a bit of time finishing it, my stomach was so full that I
didn't have the extra space to go for a second or third serving of
food. Third but not least, the nice aroma and the taste is pretty
delicious. Almost each and every piece of the soft 'Carrot Cake'
comes with a crispy texture. :D On top of that, the amount of egg and
preserved radish added were pretty generous too. Almost every mouthful
will come with a mixture of a piece of 'Carrot Cake', a bit of chilli
fried egg and preserved radish. As you started chewing, the mixture of
different tastes will blend together nicely and the preserved radish
will also add a bit of crunchiness to the overall dining experience. :P

So where can you give this dish a try?
The name of this stall would be 'Yuan Ji Fried Carrot Cake'(源记正宗菜头粿).

    I'm not really sure but I'm pretty sure that they are opened during weekends from 4pm - 9pm.
  • By the way, the chilli that the stall is providing isn't too spicy, but it does blend nicely into the 'Carrot Cake' very well. :P

Isn't just about the Lor Mee

Probably when someone started mentioning about 'Heng Hwa'(兴化) chinese crusine in Singapore, the first item that might be popping out of your mind would most likely be the infamous 'Lor Mee'. As for myself, though the 'Lor Mee' is pretty nice, but I think that there are some other speciality that were much more nicer than it.

As for the 'Beancurd' dish, though the taste is pretty nice, but I personally find it
pretty ordinary. (Probably because the dished that appear after this gets more and
more interesting. Therefore...)

As for the 'Century Egg', if you have tasted the infamous Chinese dish, 'Sweet and
Sour Pork' before, the idea behind this dish is pretty much the same. And in fact,
if you only went ahead and cut a small piece of the egg and put it into your mouth,
the taste can be pretty much similar to the 'Sweet and Sour Pork'. However, if you
have chosen to put the whole slice into your mouth, you will realise that the taste
of the century egg is suppressing the taste of 'Sweet and Sour', which kinda defeats
the purpose of preparing the dish using this method.

'Steamed Prawns with Minced Garlic'(蒜茸蒸虾)
This is probably the 2nd time I'm trying this dish. Although the taste of the
garlic has almost completely suppress the taste of the prawns, but I still love
this dish. Not only the presentation looks good, the colours of the prawns are
attracting my attention too. And since the chef has split open all the prawns
into 2, he has also made it much more easier to gobble down all the flesh of the
prawns without the need of making your hands dirty. The nice mix between the taste
of the prawns and the garlic just makes it almost irresistible.:P

'Stir-fried Yam'(酥炒芋头)
This would be one of my favourite 'Heng Hwa' dish. To some extent, I personally
find this dish much more tasty than the infamous 'Lor Mee'. Each piece of 'Yam'
are pretty crispy on the outside and once you started taking a bite off the 'Yam',
there will be an outburst of the taste and fragrance of 'Yam' inside your mouth.
Although this is a pretty simple and ordinary looking dish, but trust me once you
started giving this dish a go, you will be hook on to it forever. As for the
drawback of this dish, it's slightly a bit oily and therefore it wouldn't be such
a big problem if you are sharing this dish with a few people. However, it might
ended up to be quite a challenge, if you want to finish this whole plate of 'Yam' alone.

'PUTIEN Rice Cake'(山里白粿)
If you have tried the 'Heng Hwa' infamouse 'Lor Mee' before, I think that the
idea behind this dish is pretty much the same. Except for the fact that they
using 'Rice Cake', instead of 'Noodles'. As for the soup base that they are
using in preparing this dish, I kinda love it. I love the idea of adding
crunchy peanuts to the sweet soup base. However, the 'Rich Cake' are slightly
a bit too thick and I still prefer to have noodles with this soup base.

'Deep Fried Tenggiri Fish'(炸马鲛鱼)
One good thing about this dish would be the fact that it's almost boneless.
Although this is a pretty common dish out there, but the on top of the crispy
texture that it's having, the fish meat still remains to be pretty firm and good.
However, I think that it's slightly a bit too thin and it will be great if the
chef can provide a bigger slice of the fish. :P

'Bamboo Herbal Prawn'(药膳竹筒虾)
My friends have also placed an order for this dish. By looking at the description
of the dish and how much they enjoyed the soup and the prawns of this dish, I think
that they have definitely enjoyed this dish very much. To some extent, this dish
has given me the impression that it's pretty similar to the Chinese dish 'Drunken
Prawns', but they are using herbal soup instead of Chinese wine.

So where can you give all these ;Heng Hwa' Chinese dishes a try?
The name of this Chinese restaurant would be 'Pu Tien'(莆田).
They have a few outlets island-wide and the main branch is located near 'Mustafa'.

  • Always do remember to make a reservation in advance, unless you don't mind wasting a trip to the nearest 'Pu Tien' restaurant located near you.
